Midday Assistant

We are looking for a very exceptional person to join our wonderful team here at Shavington Primary School.  Are you passionate about working with children, putting them at the heart of everything you do?  Are you energetic, dynamic, encouraging and approachable?  Do you work well within a team but also have the ability to work using your own initiative?  If yes, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Due to continual growth within the school, we are looking for someone to work as a Midday Assistant from 11.45am until 1.30pm. We are looking for someone who is prepared to be fully committed to the role which will be from Monday to Friday and term time only.

We strongly encourage anyone interested in this role to undertake trial shifts prior to applying. Please call the school office to discuss this further.

Please complete the application form and return to the school via email along with a brief covering letter stating why you feel you are suitable for this role.  CV’s or open testimonials will not be accepted in place of application forms.  You will be contacted within 2 weeks if your application has been successful.

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS and attend Safeguarding training prior to commencing the role.

We particularly welcome applications from black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates, LGBTQ+ candidates and candidates with disabilities because we would like to increase the representation of these groups within the Learning for Life Partnership. We want to do this because we know greater diversity will lead to even greater outcomes for children.

Please ensure that applications are sent via email only to officemanager@shavingtonprimary.co.uk and note that only successful applicants will be contacted to arrange an interview.
