Casual Leisure Assistant – Casual Contract - £10.78ph.  holiday pay, uniform, free use of equipment for personal development, training opportunities

£10.78 per hour

Outdoor summer work, set in the backdrop of Dinton Pastures and California Country Parks.

Dinton Activity Centre, near Reading, is looking for outdoor loving, enthusiastic people to assist with the smooth running of the outdoor paddling pool, pay and play boat hire facility and activity programme.  As a Leisure Assistant you will be supporting the delivery of family events, assisting with the operation of boat hire on the lake side at Dinton, running the paddling pool at California, and checking car parks and play areas to ensure the high level of customer care and health and safety standards are maintained during the busy summer season.

The successful candidate will be introduced to our comprehensive training programme to accelerate your opportunities for personal development into a fully qualified and experienced outdoor sports instructor.   It is essential that you are confident working in and around water and with the public.

There is also possible progression for those interested to help on some land activity sessions under supervision on the instructional staff, and progress on to running sessions for a variety of clients. On-site training will be provided.

Due to the variety of sites on which we operate ability to travel to them is essential.
