About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the successful candidate to join Early Childhood Services as part of a small team of Family Workers offering support to families across the South & West Wirral locality. Based at Bromborough Children's Centre, this team specifically works with families who have a child aged under 5 years, so a sound understanding of child development & knowledge of the early years must be evident in your practice. The practitioner will deliver quality interventions in order to effect sustained change & improve outcomes for young children. Wirral takes a whole family, systemic approach to supporting families, using the continuum of need model to manage risk & ensure children are supported appropriately.

About the Candidate

Candidates must be professionally curious, reflective in their practice & keep the child at the heart of everything that they do. Able to work productively using one's own initiative, as well as being a team player, you are assured of regular supervision & support from your team manager. Location of post - Bromborough Children's Centre, Gratrix Road, Bromborough, CH62 7BW

Working Days - 18 hours Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
