SEND Teacher
Holly Spring Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated, motivated and conscientious teacher to work in our bespoke SEND classroom teaching small groups of children with varying needs. The role is available from September 2023.
Going the extra mile to maximise your pupils’ attainment, you will plan and deliver stimulating, memorable lessons, offering a broad and balanced curriculum. You will set high standards in conduct and academic work, and actively support the social, emotional and cultural aspects of learning.
We are looking to appoint a qualified and experienced teacher who is passionate about transforming outcomes for pupils. Naturally, you should be familiar with the statutory national curriculum, well versed in monitoring pupils’ progress, and adept at organising classrooms and learning strategies.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is able to demonstrate and share best practice in teaching
- has a strong understanding of a range of educational needs and a knowledge of methods to support these children in the classroom
- has high expectations of all pupils
- is able to form positive relationships with children, staff and parents
- has the ability to inspire and motivate
- is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
