Job Title: Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Project Manager
Hours: 37 hours Permanent
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual with excellent communication skills and project management experience to work in our friendly and hard-working Technology Enabled Care Service, in the Brokerage and Professional Support team within Adult Social Care.
Our team consists of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Social Care Practitioners and many more highly skilled Social Care staff, all working together to support the needs of our Wokingham residents.
The team also has a Transitions Service, Sensory Needs Service and Independent Brokerage Service.
We are seeking a person who is keen to take on an exciting opportunity to proactively pursue new ways to improve the service, to expand and drive the use of Technology Enabled Care across Health and Social Care as a means of preventing, reducing and delaying the need for care and support; a worker who is able to seek out appropriate solutions to problems, often in creative and innovative ways to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers and carers. We need an individual who is proficient in MS office including intermediate level in Excel, has had project or relationship management experience and who is able to oversee and provide regular information and advice to professionals, senior managers and the public on matters relating to TEC.
We are based at the Wokingham Borough Council offices in Shute End, a short walk from Wokingham Town centre.
You will be co-working with your colleagues, assisting with day-to-day operational and management tasks, and contributing to the team’s monthly performance. In return you will be offered regular supervision each month, along with peer support and weekly team meetings. Employment benefits include opportunities for flexible working, access to a wide range of relevant training, and the Local Government Pension Scheme. You will also be entitled to a generous annual leave entitlement.
Wokingham Borough Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expects all staff, other workers and volunteers to share this commitment. All successful candidates for this role will be subject to Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks along with other relevant employment checks.
