Fostering Training Co-ordinator

Birmingham Fostering Agency is looking for an experienced social worker for the role of training and development coordinator for our mainstream and family and friends foster carers. We need someone who is aspirational about our Birmingham children and young people receiving outstanding care from our amazing foster carers. This role supports our foster carers to providing the best levels of care, by increasing skills and understanding.  The role includes delivering training and facilitating support groups for all carers.

This is a full time vacancy that will require working collaboratively with our fostering service and wider Trust colleagues.

You will need to understand the training and development priorities for Birmingham carers, analysing which training can be provided jointly and which training might need to be bespoke for different types of carer and to ultimately meet the needs of Birmingham children and young people.
