Single Homeless Projects Team Leader
Do you have a passion for ending and preventing single homelessness and rough sleeping?
Do you have the skills and drive to direct and co-ordinate rough sleeper and single homelessness services and projects operating across the boroughs of Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge Malling?
If you answered yes, the post we’re seeking to fill could be for you.
We’re looking to recruit a full time Single Homeless and Projects Team Leader, on a fixed term contract for 24-months, to direct and co-ordinate Tunbridge Wells BC and Tonbridge and Malling BC’s services and projects focused on to preventing and ending rough sleeping and single homelessness, under the government’s Rough Sleeper Initiative funding, in conjunction with key homelessness partners from the statutory and voluntary sectors.
About you:
We are seeking an experienced housing professional with experience of coordinating and managing rough sleeping and/or single homelessness services/projects.
You must have proven ability to direct and coordinating projects and effectively lead a small team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must and the ability to manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines.
The right candidate will be committed to service delivery and have a passion for continuous improvement and excellent customer service.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the line management of two Single Homeless Pathway Workers
To be responsible for the Rough Sleeper Initiatives operating in both Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge and Malling council areas, effectively directing and co-ordinating different projects/interventions, ensuring that the services delivered are high-quality and meet the needs of rough sleepers/are able to prevent rough sleeping.
You will lead on analysing and monitoring the delivery of these initiatives.
Make sure clients being supported by the Rough Sleeper pathway, through the effective line management of the Single Homeless Pathway Workers.
Work in collaboration with statutory and voluntary homelessness partners
Contract manage any new projects and initiatives targeted towards preventing single homelessness and rough sleeping, such as Tunbridge Wells BC’s partnership with Beam.
Organise and where appropriate chair both councils’ Rough Sleeper Meetings
Lead on the annual rough sleeper count/estimate for both councils
Complete statistical returns to government and internal KPI’s in an accurate and timely manner.
