More Information

Senior Digital Community Officer

The role

The successful candidate will be working in the digital community team, in direct communication with the people who we support via our social channels and our peer-to-peer support forum. Working with internal and external stakeholders, they’ll be responsible for content creation, engagement levels, and reporting for assigned campaigns.

They will line manage the digital community officer, focusing on developing them in their role, and supporting them in their day-to-day work.

About you

You’ll know your reels from your stories, and you’ll recognise a popular meme when you see it. You know when to use a hashtag, and maybe more importantly, when a hashtag doesn’t add anything to what you’re trying to say.

You’ll understand what accessible content looks like, and you’ll make sure everything we post can be accessible by all our followers.

You’ll be in regular contact with our supporters, many of whom are affected by breast cancer. You’ll have excellent people skills, and the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.

You’ll be an excellent mentor to the digital community Officer, seeking out ways in which they can develop and grow.
