An Exciting Opportunity...

Brent is a tremendously vibrant London borough where the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium dominates the skyline. Spanning both inner and outer London, it is a borough of huge contrasts in terms of its economic, environmental, ethnic and social make up. Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.

The council is pursuing a far-reaching transformation agenda that better meets the needs of our community so it is an exciting time to join us.

The Post

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Homes for Ukraine team in Brent Council, supporting Ukrainian guests who have made Brent their home. This role is varied, and ranges from supporting guests with online applications (e.g. BRP, UC, School places), to visiting them in their home. You will also be involved in the quarterly Ukraine Day event, and other events we hold for our Ukrainian guests.

We are looking for a caring and supportive individual, who is flexible and happy to work both individually and as part of a team. No two days are the same in this job, and if you are someone who relishes a challenge, and can demonstrate initiative, then this job could be for you.

If you think this job is for you and would like to apply, please make sure your application shows how you meet the different points in the person specification (included at the end of the job description)
