The Trust is passionate about both the academic achievement of its students and their growth as adult citizens and individuals. Drawn from the local inner-city community the school roll comprises a significant number of students eligible for Free School Meals and those for whom English is not their first home language.  The Trust has a highly inclusive focus, a strong ethos of celebrating diversity and a strong pastoral system. FCA also hosts a cohort of students from a local special school who become integrated into mainstream lessons as they develop.
