Lincolnshire County Council is looking to recruit a number of highly motivated individuals at a number of levels who have the skills, experience and knowledge to deliver highway maintenance works and ensure the efficient use of the Lincolnshire highway network.
About the Team
Lincolnshire County Council's Local Operational Asset Management Team provide a highway maintenance design service to one of the biggest highways networks in the country. There are four Teams covering based in offices across the County that work in partnership with our Network Management Teams and external contractors within the Lincolnshire Highways Alliance.
About the Role
The roles available cover a multitude of functions that include designing carriageway schemes, footway schemes, drainage schemes, assessment and design of traffic related improvements, cyclical works and monitoring the reactive works service.
Based in a number of offices shared with Alliance partners across the County the post holders’ general duties will include the coordination, communications, consultation, financial control, planning, design, construction and handover on completion of a variety of schemes.
About You
In all of these posts you will need a good level of technical knowledge, be able to engage with the community and have the ability to inspect and place works orders to the Alliance Contractors. These diverse posts have a varied workload including the coordination of works, daily communication with a variety of customers and groups in a range of methods and assisting in the development and use of suitable IT systems and processes. A full training and development package will be made available to each individual to ensure candidates are able to attain their full potential within the organisation.
