Rehousing Pathway Officer– Ref: RPO
12 month temporary contract
Salary £30,687.80 pa
Are you looking for your next career move? Broxbourne Borough Council’s Housing Advice Service is recruiting for a professional and enthusiastic person to join its ambitious and innovative Housing Options Team. You would be working with a dedicated team supporting those who are homeless to secure settled accommodation and move on from temporary accommodation. The role is interesting and varied and involves case management and the ability to work collaboratively with other partner agencies using your own initiative.
If you are interested in applying you will be a highly motivated person with a genuine interest in helping people and have experience of working in a customer facing role. Excellent verbal communication skills in fluent English are essential, as this role requires having sensitive conversations and managing customer expectations effectively. Good written and analytical skills are equally important, therefore a GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Math’s is fundamental. A full driving license is also required as visits to clients in the community will be part of the role.
