We are looking for two enthusiastic and hard-working individuals, with strong customer service and communication skills, who enjoy working to deadlines in a pressurised environment.

Being able to work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team is essential and you will need to possess good IT skills and attention to detail as you will be responsible for updating accounts accurately.

Helping customers in writing, by telephone and occasionally face-to-face, you will negotiate arrangements to clear arrears.

You will need good problem-solving and mathematical skills and be able to deal with matters in an assertive but empathetic manner, often having to interpret complex information clearly to customers.

A background in a customer service or debt recovery environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Basic DBS clearance and three years employment referencing.

Staff are our most important asset and we therefore have a benefit package which reflects our continuing commitment to our employees.  This includes:

  • Generous leave entitlement; a minimum of 25 days + Bank Holiday entitlement
  • Local Government Pension
  • Training & development

  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Flexible working options

We are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community - a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed on merit. Staff work in a supportive and safe environment, recognising their responsibility to value and respect each other’s contributions. Standards of conduct must be of the highest level to ensure that no-one is harassed, bullied or victimised. We offer a range of family friendly, inclusive employment policies, staff engagement forums and are keen to hear from applicants from a variety of different backgrounds.
