Social Worker - Children with Disabilities Team - (East NWC and South)

The Children with disabilities service are looking for ASYE, experienced, and senior social workers to join our teams across the city.
We are looking for ambitious professionals who will work with children with disabilities and their families, completing children and family assessments, managing interventions through child in need planning, supporting children in care, safeguarding and court work and working aspirationally to support all our children in preparing for adulthood.
The role involves the implementation, monitoring and reviewing of child friendly plans within multi agency meetings relating to the assessed needs of the children and young people we work with. Developing effective working partnerships with children, families and the professionals around them to ensure disabled children have the same opportunities and non-disabled peers.
You will be a team player working with colleagues in a range of disciplines, sharing knowledge and providing support and advice to deliver the best possible outcomes for local children and their families.

You will be a passionate, motivated and committed Social Worker who has completed their ASYE and has core and valuable previous experience within Children Services.
You must hold a recognised social work qualification and have current active registration with Social Work England.
