We are looking for a Senior Category Manager with extensive background in construction procurement to lead our Regeneration, Highways & Community Services Team!

Liverpool City Council aim to make Liverpool one of the best cities in the world by improving the lives of its citizens and bringing new investment into the city. To support this The City Council are looking for dynamic professionals to join its procurement team responsible for supporting the delivery of contracts across the city. Successful candidates can expectto lead the team involved in exciting projects such as the new Paddington Village, Festival Gardens developments, and Highways Improvement Programmes.

Not only would you be joining a team intent on delivering exciting new projects, you will also be joining an award winning service with awards from the Government Procurement awards in 2018 & 2019 and Public Finance awards in 2019 for delivering cutting edge procurement innovations and excellence within the field. The salary for the role is £58,079 - £64,257 with the possibility of a market supplement for exceptional candidates.
