Project Manager
Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Strategic Regeneration team at Lewisham Council and support our regeneration ambitions for Catford Town Centre and other key regeneration sites across the borough.
The Role:
Lewisham is a fast growing area of the capital with a number of live regeneration and development opportunities including Catford Town Centre.
The Inclusive Regeneration directorate is crucial in creating a vibrant borough that attracts business and new residents. The Strategic Regeneration team works closely with teams across the council to deliver a range of projects and programmes to achieve the council’s place making and regeneration priorities.
The Project Manager role is an opportunity to join this fast paced and dynamic team and deliver visible and tangible benefits in Catford and the wider borough. The post holder will be responsible for a number of key regeneration projects within the council’s corporate estate as well as playing a leading role in wider borough regeneration opportunities.

This role is for up to 12 months. We are open to considering secondments for this opportunity.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic project manager to lead and manage project teams and specific high value projects to an agreed direction, timescale and budget.
You will deliver against the council’s aspirations for Catford Town Centre across a range of projects at different stages, from inception to delivery.
The role requires astute problem solving and creative thinking skills as well as the ability to form strong stakeholder relationships.
An ability to use design software such as SketchUp and InDesign would be beneficial.

Location:
Whilst the service is primarily based in Laurence House, we operate a hybrid approach whereby you may be required to work both in the office and from home as determined by service requirements.
Extra Salary Details:
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
