As an Occupational Therapist, you will form part of a large network of professionals in an integrated social care setting.
The role
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is keen, enthusiastic and passionate about social care. This is a dynamic and challenging role, which puts the customer at the heart of service delivery, providing excellent occupational therapy interventions, which promote independence, choice and control. You will be expected to provide OT interventions including but exclusively; educative techniques, equipment, adaptations, moving & handling intervention and telecare
Due to exciting new developments, we can now offer the right kind of people with passion, flare and commitment the opportunity to join our experienced friendly team.
You will enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team alongside social workers, Access and Response officers, Outreach officers and other teams across Adult Social Care. You will also have the opportunity to co- work with colleagues from housing, health and the voluntary sector.
You are expected to manage your own varied workload with the guidance of your team manager and to respond appropriately to the needs of Camden residents in the community. You will be expected to take into account resident’s needs and to prioritise tasks and responsibilities, ensuring statutory responsibilities are undertaken
You must have a thorough understanding of current legislation and how it applies to the work of the profession including understanding the prevailing needs, whilst to promote the best interests of our residents and carers at all times.
This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work under pressure as an individual and as part of a team.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
About you
This role requires you to be a qualified Occupational Therapist and must be registered with HCPC England. Also, to be successful in this role you must be willing to show a commitment to undertake Post Qualifying Courses when relevant,
The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, passionate and committed to work and dedicated to improve the well-being of our residents and their carers. It is essential that you demonstrate the ability to take responsibility for managing your own workload at a high standard and delivering to set deadlines.
