Medway Council Housing Services are looking for an Apprentice to join the Housing Services Team and learn a wide range of skills in housing and tenancy management, whilst helping the team provide excellent services to Medway Council tenants.
A Medway Council Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to earn a salary and gain a qualification whilst gathering invaluable workplace skills and experience.
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Housing Services Team as a Housing Apprentice. This is a great chance to gain a qualification whilst working for the Housing Services Team that provide a wide range of tenancy services to Council tenants.
As part of this role, you can expect to undertake the following tasks:
- Data inputting
- Scanning
- Updating of systems
- Email inbox monitoring
- Maintenance of database
- Using the council finance systems
- Responding to customer queries via telephone or email
Ideally you will already have good communication and interpersonal skills, combined with competent IT skills, and a good attention to detail. However, we are happy to support you to reach those goals if you are highly motivated and have the desire to learn and succeed.

The apprentice role will cover all aspects of the work of the Housing Management Team.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience, or an understanding of all requirements as listed in the job profile.
