About the role

The Short Breaks team is looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic and motivated casual Playworkers to be part of a team supporting specialist and community-based activity days across North Somerset for children and young people aged 5 to 18, often on a 1-1 basis. This work will be during school holidays and occasional Saturdays in term time.

The post holders will assist in delivering activities to children and young people with a wide range of needs. You will work closely with the SENDCAS Team Leaders and will be required to comply with standards set by Ofsted.

Good communication skills, flexibility and being a team player are essential for this post.
