Senior Social Worker/Approved Mental Health Practitioner/Dual Diagnosis Lead
An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Social Worker/AMHP/Dual Diagnosis Lead within the Wokingham Community Mental Health Service. You will be part of an enthusiastic and dedicated team who pride themselves in delivering excellent services to service users and their carers. The service is proud to be rated “Outstanding” by CQC. The post holder will act as a Senior Social Worker/AMHP/Dual Diagnosis Lead for the service and will support the team in fulfilling its service responsibilities. This will include liaison with the Adult Social Care team at Wokingham Borough Council.
The service comprises of a Long term recovery team and a duty function. The post holder will carry a varied caseload, acting as a care coordinator and also a BIA and AMHP if qualified to do so. We are looking for someone with a good level of clinical knowledge and skills to complement the team. The vacancy is for a Senior Social Worker/AMHP/Dual Diagnosis Lead. Experience as an Approved Mental Health Practitioner is essential. There will be opportunities for training and personal development available including access to BIA training.
