Governance Professional

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and competent Governance Professional to provide a comprehensive clerking service to the Board of Trustees at King Edward VI Grammar School in Louth.

The role involves:

  • the preparation and distribution of agendas, papers, and minutes,
  • attending, and accurately taking minutes of meetings, and
  • providing advice and support to the Board of Trustees,
  • ensuring governance compliance, and
  • updating statutory documents.

King Edward’s is a selective Grammar School which has an interesting history going back over four hundred and fifty years. The School’s more recent history has seen it move from being a 14-18 boarding and day school in the 1970s and 1980s to becoming a fully-fledged 11-18 day selective Grammar School in the 1990s
