We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Health & Safety Specialist to join our Regulatory Services team.

Successful candidates will be responsible for enforcing a wide range of legislation and providing advice in line with Council policy and government requirements.

It is essential you can analyse and interpret complex information, make objective assessments, and regulate in a proportionate way. It is also essential you can communicate clearly and effectively, be well-organised and committed to high standards of customer care.

If you have the appropriate skills and experience, we can offer a challenging opportunity for you within a friendly team.

You must have a comprehensive knowledge of the technical and legal aspects of the role and will hold a qualification relevant to health and safety at work enforcement and investigative work. A working knowledge of all Environmental Health disciplines is also required.

Applicants will have a degree/diploma in a relevant subject.
