About The Role:

IDS are looking for an individual who will be responsible for day-to-day management of all procurement requirements for IDS.  This role is a management role and will include being responsible for procuring our procurement pipeline and working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver their procurement requirements through individual tender requirements.

We currently have a few contracts to be procured for both capital and revenue works including some big projects i.e., procurement of a long new term repairs contractor and tendering for contractors to deliver this year’s capital programme. I need someone who can work on initiative and identify the suitable procurement method (consortium, open tender etc.) for each project and then take the procurement of each project through to mobilisation stage. The right individual will also be required to monitor / maintain IDS’s existing contract’s register.

This is a permanent role.

£47k - £55k per year

About You:

The successful candidate will be a strong leader and have experience working in the procurement industry. The right individual will be able to develop strong working relationships with team members and key stakeholders. The individual will have experience and understand the government procurement regulations, and demonstrate the standards set out within the relevant sections of the Regulatory Framework for Social Housing, relevant H&S, best practice, and associated standards/legislation.

The right individual will have a degree level, hold an MCIPS qualification or equivalent professional qualification and will be an expert in the public sector procurement.
