Legal Officer

Being a property legal officer at Elmbridge is more than providing legal advice on property matters, it’s more than conveyancing and contracts. At Elmbridge, our property portfolio – made of up of local property investments as well as civic buildings and sports facilities – allows us to deliver our services to the local community.

As a property legal officer we know you could take your career in a different direction but will you have the opportunity to help shape a sustainable and thriving local area? Will you work with a group of dedicated people, committed to doing the best for the people of Elmbridge?

By working at Elmbridge Borough Council, you will make a real difference in the community.

Our Centres for the Community provide 'Jane' with a hot lunch and the chance to meet friends - her only outing each day; our community spaces allow 'Alice' to have her 7th birthday party and to feel like a princess; our leisure centre and Sports Hub allow 'John' to play football with his mates and feel mentally and physically stronger.

At Elmbridge you can contribute to the local community and join an organisation focussed on delivering the best services to its residents and businesses. You will be assisting the Legal Team in delivering an effective legal service to the Council. You will attend Committee meetings and provide legal advice and services on matters relating to both commercial and residential property transactions.

Part-Time, Term Time and Job-Share will all be considered.
