Human Resources Officer
Fixed Term Contract until 31st December 2023
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate to join our busy Human Resources team. We pride ourselves on working in a friendly and helpful environment and would welcome someone with similar values to join us.
You will have the responsibility for the day-to-day processes around recruitment, employment checks and DBS checks for the Council’s recruitment process. This involves working with our managers to co-ordinate interviews, assisting with work experience schemes and processing invoices. Ideally, you will have had previous experience of working in a busy department, multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines.
You will be required to demonstrate your ability to apply knowledge and develop competencies relating to HR activities. You must also have a proactive approach, demonstrable experience of handling confidential documentation and be an excellent team player.
