Introduction
Working with the Procurement and Contracts Manager, ensure the successful procurement of specific IT & Digital solutions, including but not limited to Lewisham Homes. This also includes effective contract management, purchasing and sourcing.
What’s the role ?
Senior Procurement and IT Contracts Officer - x 1 role :Responsible for the procurement of specific new Digital and IT services, and effective contract management, purchasing and sourcing. Experience in the procuremen it process, through requirement gathering and identifying the route to market, to evaluation and moderation, and ultimately contract award.

What we're looking for
Strong knowledge of the IT industry/technology solutions to manage and support the Council’s IT procurement arrangements
Excellent IT Procurement, negotiation and commercial expertise
Experience of managing IT procurement resources
Strong knowledge of public sector procurement to manage and support the Council’s procurement arrangements across a range of services including IT.
Experience of contract management matters related to procurement practices ensuring compliance with procurement procedures, standing orders and financial regulations, including the management of commercial risks.
Ability to deal with vendors, suppliers and contractors
Able to think, plan and act strategically and develop creative and innovative solutions to complex issues.
Able to establish positive relationships with senior managers that generate mutual confidence and respect.
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
