Working across our Development Management and Strategic Planning teams, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your planning knowledge and skills.
Our teams have a focus on learning and development and our staff have a wide variety of experience which they are keen to share so there are plenty of mentoring occasions.
You’ll assist the team by bringing your organisational and accuracy skills to manage your own caseload which will include a variety of planning applications and pre-application enquiries.
In addition to this, you’ll assist the Strategic Planning team with the preparation and implementation of the Local Plan by providing information, assisting with monitoring as well as organising and running public consultation events.
This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office (2-3 days) and home working (2-3 days).
Please note that this is a fixed term contract for 1 Year.
