We have some exciting opportunities within our Business Support Service for self-motivated, proactive Business Support Assistants.
You will play a vital role in the effective day to day running of the Children's Advice and Support Service (CASS) and Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) we are looking for people who are very well organised; have excellent attention to detail and who can work to and meet tight deadlines; you must be able to work effectively within a team environment, be customer and child focused and be able to deliver the role with a flexible approach.
About You….
You will be a ‘can-do' person with a positive attitude to give the best start to a child’s journey in BCT. You will be a fast learner and passionate about high quality service delivery and performance. You will be able to work effectively within a dedicated team environment, be customer focused and able to deliver the role with a flexible approach. You will possess excellent ICT skills and be able to hit the ground running.
About the role…
The Children's Advice and Support Service (CASS) provides a single point of contact for professionals and members of the public who want to seek support or raise concerns about a child. CASS receives approximately 2500 emails weekly.
Some of the skills you would need include:
- The ability to independently interpret and analyse information and facts to solve varied problems
- Experience of managing several conflicting priorities, the ability to organise own workload and decide priorities
- The ability to organise, support, record meetings and complete meeting outputs and distribution appropriately
- The ability to use own initiative to respond independently to difficult problems and unexpected situations
- The ability to resolve internal/external issues and providing a solution focused response
- Exceptional IT skills, including efficient data gathering and data input skills with a GDPR awareness
- Multitasking abilities to cover the service area requirements within the limited timescales

The role could be based at various locations across the Trust, therefore, travel across the City may occasionally be required.
