Teaching Assistant - Autism Provision

Teaching Assistant for Autism provision AAAE5053

Permanent position – 32.5 hours per week – 39 weeks per year.

8.20am until 3.15pm Monday to Friday, with an occasional meeting until 4.15pm on Wednesdays.

Grade 6 - £24,054 - £26,845 pro rata per annum

The Governors wish to recruit enthusiastic an adaptable teaching assistant required to work with students with challenging behaviour in our Autism resource provision. The successful candidate will be required to work with students both on a one-to-one basis and in the classroom helping them access the curriculum. In addition, you will be delivering autism friendly interventions.  Experience preferred.

St Nicholas Catholic High School is a mixed catholic secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Northwich, Cheshire, and caters for approximately 1,250 pupils.

The school opened as a secondary modern in 1965, becoming a comprehensive school in 1972. It is a voluntary-aided school.
