Making A Difference as a Volunteer and Mentoring Officer (0.5FTE)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the implementation of St Helens to a Family Hub model.
The Volunteer and Mentoring Officer will:
Build on and facilitate St Helens Family Hub Parent and Carer Panel.
Support parents, carers, children, and young people to engage in the development of Family Hubs, informing what is delivered and how it is delivered.
Establish, maintain and support the involvement of parents, carers and young people as volunteers and mentors.
Provide supervision and support to identified volunteers and mentors.
Report on the impact of volunteers and mentors.
Contribute to the sustainability of local communities in keeping with integrated area working.
Identify opportunities for service development, in line with volunteering and mentoring roles.
Work closely and collaboratively with the wider voluntary sector.
