The Market Management Service was established to ensure that Enfield’s private rented sector meets residents’ needs. The aim of the Market Management Service is to provide a range of PRS interventions and initiatives including emergency and temporary accommodation and PRS Housing Services, including procurement, allocation, and management services.
The role
We are seeking two proactive, outcome-focused candidates to join our Housing Gateway Team.
One post will be for a full time position, 36 hours per week. The other post will be for a part time position, 18 hours per week.
The Housing Gateway Team will ensure the effective provision of tenancy and landlord services on behalf of Enfield Council and Housing Gateway Limited.
The Housing Gateway Team will support tenants to sustain their homes and work in partnership to proactively address tenancy issues, such as under/over occupation, rent arrears, ASB, hoarding, disrepair, etc.
The Housing Gateway Team will also manage the day-to-day relationship with PRS housing suppliers and contribute to the management of leases and contracts.
You should also have knowledge and experience in residential property management as well as some knowledge of welfare, housing policy and law, and safeguarding. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
You should be ambitious, proactive, collaborative, highly motivated, and ready for a new challenge.
Please note - the salary quoted is the annual salary for a full time employee working 36 hours per week.
This salary will be pro rata for part time employees. The actual part time salary for part time/ 18 hour role is £17,608 - £18,519 pa
For the part time role we would like the post holder to work 6 hours a day over 3 days.
