As a project manager with us, you’ll be given plenty of responsibility right from the start. You’ll be empowered to help define and drive our improvment journey. At the same time, we’ll make sure you have all the training and support you need to get your own journey off to a flying start. Make your future about shaping tomorrow.

What it's like working in our team...

We are a small close knit team based in Bracknell within a network of public health teams across three local authorities in the East of Berkshire.  We combine time in the office with working remotely and have really good IT that allows us to do this effectively.  We work alongside the Director of Public Health to deliver health intelligence, public health commissioning and other programmes to support local public health  teams in Bracknell Forest Council, Slough Borough Council and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training...

  • Setting up a project plan for recovery of public health programmes that were reduced or halted during the pandemic.
  • Managing and reporting on the projects.
  • Setting up administrative systems within the team to support recovery.
  • Working across the public health network to drive and unblock progress.

The benefits you will experience are...

  • An inclusive and social working environment.
  • Flexible working opportunities including a flexi-time scheme.
  • Generous annual leave entitlement.
  • Regular opportunities for development with internal and external training courses.
  • A great office location next to travel links and the regenerated town centre.

What we're looking for...

We are looking for someone with strong project management and organisational skills who wants to make a real difference to health and wellbeing across Berkshire over the next 12 months.  Someone who is driven to succeed in getting our services up and running, better than ever.

Interview date

Interviews will be held on 23rd June 2023.
