The post holder will support our repairs and maintenance team being the first point of contact for all Dartford Borough Council residents, contractors and others ensuring repair queries are responded to, actioned and managed.
- Triaging repair queries
- Raising repair requests and Instructing contractors to deliver work
- Reporting on contractor performance
- Overseeing delivery of repair works
- Monitoring contractor performance
Relevant experience of working in a similar role in a social housing environment, is desirable. The successful applicant will also have worked successfully in customer service or administration position, analysed information to present to colleagues. The ability to understand procedures and retain information, working accurately and efficiently. An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel packages as well as some experience in working with a housing management system would be desirable.
