Economic Development Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Economic Development Officer to join us on a fixed term 12-month contract on a part-time basis (3 days per week). You will work on a wide range of projects in support of local businesses with the overarching aim of achieving sustainable growth in the local economy.

You will support and assist the Economic Regeneration Manager on a range of Borough-wide initiatives which support local businesses as well as organising a series of events with partner organisations that support the local economy.

As well as having a genuine interest and commitment to Local Government and the wider community we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate that they have excellent research and report writing skills, can work on their own and as part of a team, are enthusiastic and able to confidently network with a wide range of people.

Due to the way that this role is funded this post is offered on an 12-month fixed term contract.
