We are currently recruiting for a Customer Services Advisor to join our Customer Services team based at Kings Hill. If you possess excellent customer service and communication skills and wish to be part of a dynamic team at a time when there is exciting change and improvement in how services are delivered to our residents and visitors to the borough, then this job is for you.
Reporting to the Gateway & Customer Services Manager, the job involves working in the Council’s call taking team as well as in our reception, dealing with enquiries received face to face, over the phone and electronically through varying channels.
Educated to GCSE grade C (or equivalent) standard or above in maths and English, you will have previous experience of providing a customer focussed, front-line, public enquiry service. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and demonstrate confident IT skills.
There is a lot to learn, so you must be prepared to assimilate and retain a large amount of information quickly and demonstrate a “can-do” approach to your work. In return we will give you ongoing training and support.
