Are you driven by a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable children?

Would you thrive in a friendly and supportive team environment, where you can help break down barriers to learning for pupils with SEND?

If so, Leaping into Future Education (LIFE) are seeking people like you to join our dedicated team!

LIFE is an education provision located in the heart of Frimley Green, Surrey. We provide vital support to 16 to 19-year-old students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The majority of our students hold an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). While they may have faced challenges in mainstream, SEMH Special, and/or Short Stay Schools, they truly thrive in our highly flexible and inclusive environment.

Your journey with LIFE begins here!

As an Assistant Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to use your knowledge, skills, and experience to support our young people on their educational journey.

You will work closely with the team to provide dedicated support to our students, both individually and in small groups, throughout their day at LIFE. This encompasses formal education sessions, breaks and lunchtime activities. Additionally, you will play an essential role in delivering life skills and needs-based workshops that empower our young learners to unlock their full potential, enhance their skills, ignite their passion for learning and ultimately pave the way for their progress.

What we're seeking in our Assistant Practitioner:

  • Passion: A genuine commitment to making a positive impact on the lives and education of vulnerable young people
  • Experience: A proven track record of working with students who have SEND and/or complex needs
  • Qualifications: A minimum of maths and English GCSE or Level 2 Functional Skills, or equivalent alternative qualifications

At LIFE, we believe in the power of education, and our dedicated team plays a crucial role in shaping the lives of our students. If you are ready to start on a rewarding journey where your passion, skills, and experiences can truly make a difference, we can't wait to hear from you.
