Electoral Services Officer
Overview
Are you interested in Electoral Services – if so, we are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and committed individual to join our exciting and diverse team as an Electoral Services Officer, working together to ensure the smooth running of the service. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with previous experience in Electoral Services to join the team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake the AEA Certificate and will be fully supported in developing a career within Electoral Services. Working in Electoral Services means being involved in an exciting and fast – paced environment. We are currently in an unprecedented political era where the likelihood of elections is high, providing an exciting dimension to the work that we do.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Deputy Electoral Services Manager and will play a key role in the successful delivery of the GLA Elections in May 2024. You will undertake various duties in assisting with the preparation and maintenance of the Register of Electors and the conduct of all Referenda, UK Parliamentary, Greater London Authority, Local Government elections and by-elections within the Borough. You will also play a key role in delivering the changes required by the Elections Act.
About You
If you have prior experience of working in Electoral Services and have good administrative, communication and IT skills, and would enjoy becoming part of our team we would be pleased to hear from you.
