Sustainability Project Lead

About Us:

Strong passion for sustainability for our residents’ homes

The Retired Ministers Housing Society (RMHS) has bold plans to upgrade all its properties to energy efficiency rating of EPC Band C over the next 18 months, and to deliver carbon neutral homes before 2050, underscored by retrofit work to most of our homes. Our strategy is driven by our care for residents’ wellbeing and reduction in energy costs. This new role will be responsible for the development, management, and delivery of the Net Zero strategy for the RMHS.

We are looking for an excellent communicator with negotiating, influencing and problem solving skills. You will be educated to degree, or equivalent level, or have relevant vocational/technical experience, with five years’ experience of working in sustainability focused roles. You have knowledge of SBTi methodology, PAS (2035), approved documents and British standards. You will also have experience of project, budget, and change management. A clean driving licence is essential.

We can offer you a flexible and friendly work environment: Hybrid working from London and from home.

If you are interested in working for us and can meet the above requirements, please contact us/see our website for an application form (noting that we do not accept CVs):
