Dream Job Alert!
Do you want to enjoy your job and make a difference to people’s lives?
Then look no further!
We are looking for Enthusiastic, Motivated, and Child Focused Individuals who have experience of working with children and young people with disabilities. We are a small residential team based in Runcorn under the umbrella of Halton Borough Council. We provide Short Breaks to children and young people with Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours and Complex Healthcare needs.
We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality service in a fun, charismatic and relaxed environment that allows the children and young people to achieve their potential. Do you think outside the box? That’s exactly what we like to do at Inglefield, giving children and young people the opportunities to take risks and go on new adventures in a controlled manner.
Liking the idea of it so far?
If so, we have a full time 37-hour position available. The role is “Residential Child Care Worker” and the successful candidates will be directly involved in promoting and fulfilling the emotional, physical, social, education and welfare needs of our children and young people.
Please note your hours are on a rota basis, this involves some early mornings, evenings and weekend working and there is a requirement to do sleep-in duties for which an additional enhancement is paid. Please also note personal care is a requirement of the role.
Still reading this advert? …… so why not now give us a call and speak to Phil Woods (Manager at Inglefield), or if you prefer to speak to one of the Care Staff and let them explain why they have each worked a minimum of 10 years at Inglefield and what keeps them here. On top of this, we offer lots of personal development and opportunities to move on within the Halton Borough Council itself.
We look forward to hearing from you.
*Appointment is subject to enhanced DBS clearance and references.
