WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Support Assistant. The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, organised, customer focused and a team player. This is a Business Support Assistant role, beginning with a 24-month Apprenticeship programme, at the end of which you will have learned to work flexibly across a variety of tasks, contributing to and supporting the delivery of a high-quality service to internal and external customers. This includes receipt and sorting incoming post, printing, document scanning and indexing, enveloping, outbound post and document verification services.
Winchester City Council’s apprenticeship scheme is a great way to gain valuable work experience while working towards a recognised qualification. Your time will be spent studying at an agreed College and working within the Business Support Team where you will have the opportunity to put your new skills to the test and provide technical and administrative support. The council will fully support you in your learning and ‘off the job’ training.
Depending on your current level of qualifications you will study:
Level 3 Business Administrator
