Youth Development Worker / Assistant Youth Development Worker
We are looking for a Youth Development Worker or Assistant Youth Development Worker to join our Chatham Team.
You will be required to deliver youth work activities /programmes in line with the Youth Service curriculum, promoting personal and social development skills. You will assess and work with young people aged 8 to 19 and with disabled people up to age 25.
For the Youth Development Worker you will hold a ‘JNC recognised’ qualification such as BA (Hons) or Graduate Diploma – level 6. For the Assistant Youth Development Worker you will hold a ‘JNC recognised’ qualification at Level 2 or 3 in Youth Work practice.
Experience of working with young people individually or in groups together with the ability to engage young people, establish rapport and maintain positive relationships is essential.
You will be required to work flexibly including evenings and weekends.
