This is a fixed term contract of 2 years.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious capital programme professional to come and work in a forward-thinking council to lead and shape a once in a generation place making agenda within the Melton area.

Purpose of the job

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the Melton Borough Council Growth and Regeneration team as a Capital Programme Manager.

This role reports directly to the Assistant Director for UKSPF delivery and Regeneration and will be part of our wider Growth and Regeneration team.

This role will work across the Growth and Regeneration department leading on and supporting the delivery of key capital programmes relating the council`s Asset Development Programme, Levelling Up Fund developments and also developing a deliverable proposition for the future of our leisure centres.

About You

The successful candidate will be driven and motivated with an eye for detail. You will be a team player but confident to work independently and have a flexible attitude to working under pressure. We are looking for an individual with a positive outlook and a desire to deliver a quality service to the community we serve.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable history of developing, securing permissions and ultimately delivering flagship capital programmes, within a local authority setting, on time and within budget

This opportunity would be ideal for an individual who is ambitious and forward thinking as the successful candidate will be at the forefront of delivering a once in a generation place shaping agenda for the Melton area.
