This is an opportunity to work for an ambitious local authority with a vision for improving the quality of life for everyone in the borough. At Hertsmere you’ll be working for a unique council which owns the world-famous Elstree Studios in an area rich with film, television and media connections.
We are looking to recruit 2 x General Practice Estate Surveyor/Valuers to join our small but busy Estates team. The roles cover all aspects of Estate Management, including handling the acquisition and disposal of land and buildings, carrying out valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals, managing non-operational properties and for giving professional advice to Council Members and Officers on matters related to the Estate.
Candidates must be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and should be qualified or working towards membership of the RICS experience of estate management and valuations is essential as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to think creatively.

The posts are offered on a full time, permanent basis (36 hours per week).
