Mechanical Services Engineer
Sefton MBC Property & Building Services Department provides in-house multi-disciplinary services through a range of professional teams comprising of Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Technicians, Building Surveyors, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Statutory Compliance services and Housing adaptation specialists. We deal with all aspects of building related services from minor day-to-day repairs, extensions, refurbishments and renovations along with a range of major capital schemes to a varying and broad range of property portfolios.
We are looking to strengthen our existing team and have exciting opportunities for experienced Mechanical Design and Electrical Design Engineers. The successful applicant(s) will enhance our service and will support the Senior Mechanical & Electrical Services Engineer in the provision of Mechanical & Electrical Design services, planned maintenance and statutory compliance programmes across our corporate and educational property portfolios.
The successful applicant(s) will also assume responsibility for the delivery of their own projects and work proactively and innovatively in the design and maintenance of high-quality mechanical & electrical services to our broad client base. The post requires the regular provision of support and advice to the Councils maintenance services in respect of day-to-day maintenance and statutory compliance programmes, along with dealing with a wide range of issues arising from working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
