The Role

Theeconomic viability of development has become an important consideration as partof the planning system, both in terms of plan-making and when determiningplanning applications. To ensure Tower Hamlets is best placed to addressmatters relating to development viability, the Council has implemented adedicated team to provide viability advice to the Planning and Building ControlService.


This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic individual wishing to furthertheir career within the Planning/Surveying profession. You will join theexisting Development Viability Team, leading initiatives to shape the future ofTower Hamlets for the better. Working in one of London’s most diverse PlanningDepartments, you will engage in a variety of important, interesting developmentprojects and programmes with your Colleagues, Managers and external viabilityexpertise.
