Neptune Day Nursery is a well-resourced, established neighbourhood nursery, which caters for the Tilbury community.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Nursery Practitioner. As part of the nursery team, the Nursery Practitioners will work closely with other nursery staff to improve the outcomes for some of the youngest children in the borough, through the delivery of the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (2017), supporting and nurturing the nursery children to develop and flourish.

As an existing NVQ Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, applicants will have an excellent understanding of the welfare, learning and development needs of 0-5 year old children and be able to communicate well with children, parents, managers and staff.

The Nursery Practitioners will help to support the general day to day running of the nursery and its staff and children.

Do you have the ability to communicate effectively, to work as a member of a team, but be confident to use own initiative?

Do you hold a professional qualification relevant to the work of young children and families  (NVQ L2) and A-C GCSE English and Maths or equivalent?

For an informal discussion about these posts, please contact Emma Dell, Nursery Manager at Neptune Nursery on 01375 858243.

A Disclosure and Barring Service Check at Enhanced level will be required for this post.
