Social Worker
West Berkshire Council has an opportunity for a full-time, permanent HCPC registered Social Worker to join our friendly and supportive team.
We are a small Local Authority with a mixture of urban and rural communities which offers great variety and positive challenges.
We are a very busy locality team working with a range of vulnerable adults who are facing different challenges in their lives, with the aim of supporting them to maintain their independence as much as possible. We are looking for a robust practitioner who has a creative approach to working with people and who enjoys being part of a lively team.
You will work alongside colleagues who include Social Care Practitioners and Occupational Therapists and will be part of a supportive locality team. You will receive regular supervision and guidance in relation to both your day to day work and your ongoing development.
This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
