Salary: £41,949 - £45,629 per annum (this position carries an additional £3,000 market rate supplement)

You will identify development opportunities and delivery mechanisms, undertake and evaluate option appraisals and feasibility studies, prepare business cases and reports ensuring development opportunities are robust, offer best value and deliver the Asset Management Strategy objectives within policy.
A RICS qualified professional your experience will allow you to prepare valuations of land and property in accordance with RICS / CIPFA regulations. You will also promote the sale of land and buildings, add value (planning) and exploiting market opportunities; negotiate, buy and sell land and or buildings on a freehold and or leasehold basis; in accordance with RICS, CIPFA and constitutional regulations to deliver the Councils Acquisition Plan and Disposal Plan.
Working for a Local Authority can be a highly politically orientated environment this will require you to use judgement and balance between professional and political influences. Your thorough understanding of customer care and managing customers expectations along with your excellent oral, written, presentation and negotiation skills will enable you to provide expert advice and assistance to members of the public, landowners, members and client directorates in respect of the services provided.
