Trainee Leasehold Property Manager
£25,500 per annum
35 hours per week
We are a residential property group with a social purpose. Our vision is to improve people's lives through high quality homes and services. Whilst we take a commercial approach to housebuilding, we reinvest all of our profits into building more new homes and supporting the communities where we work.
We provide affordable, private and social rented homes, student, NHS and temporary accommodation, as well as supported housing and homes for older people. We also offer high-quality sustainable homes for sale and shared ownership, available through our FABRICA by A2Dominion brand. Whilst we take a commercial approach to housebuilding, all of the surpluses the Group generates are reinvested into supporting our social purpose, helping to deliver more homes and services for customers.
This is an exciting time to join A2Dominion and be part of the Group's £20m change programme, Fit for the Future, which is transforming the way we work and significantly improving the services we deliver to our customers.
Are you driven, ambitious and looking for a change?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career and keen to join a successful residential property company.
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Leasehold Property Manager to deliver property management services for a portfolio of commercial and residential mixed tenure estates.
Part of your duties will include conducting regular estate inspections and to be the main point of contact for our customers where you will be responsible for resolving customer queries promptly, and be accountable for maintaining full, clear and accurate records for all customer contact.
As a trainee your portfolio has been compiled to be more manageable to reflect your 'trainee' status over that of an experienced Leasehold Property Manager.
You will have a structured training package which will provide you with essential information to support the 'on the job training' that you will also receive. You will however be expected to dedicate time outside of office hours to make yourself familiar with the material and its application to ensure that your portfolio is appropriately managed.
To be successful, you must be computer literate and have excellent interpersonal skills. You must also have experience of working in a customer facing role.
You will likely be someone who knows little or nothing about our world or have had some exposure possibly through another role such as customer services or perhaps living on our estates, if this sounds like you please apply now.
This is an essential car user role so you must have access to a car and have a clean driving license.
*Please note, shortlisting and interviews for this role will take place in January 2019*.
Rewards and Benefits
As an employee of A2Dominion, we want you to feel fairly rewarded and have a choice of flexible benefits, salary exchange benefits, and rewards and discounts that work for you, wherever you are in your life. All permanent members of staff receive a generous annual allowance of up to £300 to use towards health and lifestyle benefits for both you and your family. You are also provided with discounted childcare vouchers and cycling equipment throughout the year, and you pay for them by monthly salary deductions. Employees are usually provided with grace days to cover the period between Christmas and New Year, in 2018 we have increased it to 4 days, half a day more than the usual three and a half grace days. On top of all of this you will also receive 25 days annual leave.
Closing Date: Friday 11th January 2019
The Group is committed to equality of opportunity. We guarantee an interview to anyone with a disability whose application meets the minimum criteria for the post.
