Hackney Council is looking for two managers for its Opportunity Hubs, which provide employment, training and job brokerage services as part of Hackney's flagship employment and skills service. You will be responsible for a small team of employment advisors and for developing service provision to support residents into quality sustainable employment. The postholder is required to have knowledge and experience of the employment & skills sector.
You should be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with a range of stakeholders, including local communities, regeneration partners and service providers. The postholder should have experience of managing staff with proven ability to develop/motivate individuals and drive performance. We need you to understand best practice in employability delivery and aspire to be best in the field.
You should have initiative and creativity with good project management skills with the ability to design, develop and deliver projects. Overall you must be determined to help us maximise opportunities for our residents with high standards of customer service.
